Weighing Systems

HMA Halley & Mellowes (MHD) can supply and install a range of weighing systems its representation of the Meridian Engineers range of products. These include

All designs are based on Meridian's own design for load cell modules that have proven to be very accurate and stable over a number of years of service in trade applications. All elements of the system are designed and built in Australia ensuring superior after sales service.

The train weighing systems use load cells that are bolted directly to the web of the rail and are available to operate at speeds of 0 to 80 kmh. Installation, maintenance and replacement is easier than any type of rail weighbridge currently available on the market with Installation onto existing tracks simple as no rail needs to be replaced or complex civil changes made. It has become the preferred weighbridge for major rail and mining companies looking for a reliable and accurate system.

The truck weigh system uses the same hardware as the train system mounted in a unique installation to weigh each axle of a truck as it passes over. The system is self contained allowing for fast installation and can be relocated.
