Redler Bulk Throwers are designed to throw granular materials on to a pile or to spread it over floors. They are used widely in maltings for loading kilns with green malt and for spreading barley over growing floors. Other uses include piling grain, china clay, granite chippings and similar materials into bays and flat-bottomed stores, together with ISO container loading, and filling ships’ holds with sand and gravel.
Material poured onto the feed chute of the Thrower is automatically transferred to a high-speed belt, which discharges it in a steady stream, fully controlled by the operator.
Redler Throwers incorporate an adjustable angle of throw and are fitted with variable speed drives to give infinite variation between a long throw under a low ceiling and a short throw on to a high pile. Capacities of up to 100 tonnes per hour are available on standard machines.
Capacities vary according to density of material, size of machine, motor power, belt speed and feeding conditions.
For maximum efficiency, the Redler Thrower requires a stream feed with a vertical drop of at least 1200 mm on to the belt.
When enquiring about Redler Bulk Throwers, please state material to be handled, capacity, feeding mechanism, length of throw and height of pile required. |
